We provide care and support to individuals living in their own homes who are over the age of 18. We provide personal care, medication administration, well-being calls, fluid and nutrition, chaperoning, companionship, dementia care, palliative care, waking night sits, sleeping night sits, light domestic duties and shopping, hospital appointment chaperone.
We are passionate about what we do. We treat service users and care workers as people and not numbers, We want to let people know that we may not be a big company but we are one of the best and we can provide service users with a high quality bespoke care package which fully meets their needs and requirements whilst ensuring they are at the heart of every decision made.
We cover the following areas – Burntwood and surrounding areas, Lichfield and surrounding areas, Whittington, Brownhills and surrounding areas, Aldridge, Norton Canes and surrounding areas, Cannock Wood and surrounding areas, Little Aston and surrounding areas, Shenstone and surrounding areas.
We have an open recruitment where we welcome anyone to apply for a job with ourselves at any time. We have positions for bank staff, temporary staff, permanent staff, full time, part time, weekend only work and morning and lunch or tea and bed runs available.
Anthea has 16 years experience of working in care and nursing homes, domiciliary care and caring for her own relatives. Anthea started work as a care worker, working her way up to senior level. Anthea obtained her NVQ Level 2 and 3 in Health and Social care and has also completed her QCF Level 5 in Leadership and Management.
Claire has 18 years experience of working in supported living, hospitals, care and nursing homes but predominantly domiciliary care settings. Claire started off her care work career after caring for her Grandmother at the age of 15, this encouraged Claire to carry this out as a profession. Claire obtained her NVQ Level 2 and 3 in Health and Social Care and has also completed her QCF Level 5 in Leadership and Management.
Anthea and Claire met when they worked together at a local domiciliary care organisation, they were disillusioned with the sector as a whole and felt that care workers and service users should be treated better and respected as people, not numbers. They decided to make a change.
Anthea and Claire started Platinum Community Care in 2017 from a converted bedroom in Anthea’s house, they worked tirelessly to build the business, their reward was and still is, knowing their service users are treated with the utmost respect and dignity and they are receiving the highest quality care Platinum Community Care Ltd can possibly give.
Platinum Community Care’s recruitment process was and has remained rigorous as they only want the best care workers working within the organisation. Anthea and Claire built the business enough to move out of Anthea’s house and to open their offices in Burntwood.
Platinum Community Care Ltd has gone from strength to strength and increased its care workers and service users through word of mouth and reputation.

You all showed such compassion and understanding, and were able to adapt to her ever-changing needs. This enabled her to achieve her dearest wish, to stay in her own home. She felt that you were all friends as well as carers, and looked forward to your visits, I myself could not have managed without having you on board. I have so valued your advice and guidance, because there is no trial run when looking after elderly relative. You have been an enormous support to me, as well as mum, and I will be forever grateful to you all.
